The EV-SSL – is a single domain extended validation SSL certificate. Using this type of certificate makes it possible to secure a FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) whether it is linked to a web site or to a server application.
The EV-SSL is the highest form of SSL certificates. It offers the highest level of authentication and proves the legal, physical and operational existence of an entity.
