The EV-MDC – is an extended validation multi-domain SSL certificate. Using this type of certificate makes it possible to secure up to 10 FQDN’s (Fully Qualified Domain Name), either linked to web sites or to several applications of one server. The EV certificate is the highest form of SSL certificates. It offers the highest level of authentication and proves the legal, physical and operational existence of an entity. For EV-SSL the legal representative has to pass through a face to face identification or equivalent.
